JKSSB Instructions for candidates appearing Computer Based Test various Posts.


Instructions for candidates appearing in the Computer Based Test(s) (CBTs for various posts) w.e.f 09th to 13th of May, 2019.


Opening of the main gate for the candidates as per the Examination Reporting Time shown on admit card. Checking of original admit card along-with Govt. Photo ID proof by the Centre Staff (The admit card must be a print out of the downloaded admit card). In case the photograph is missing or mismatching of photograph/signature on admit card, candidate needs to affix latest passport size photo and also bring four copies of same photograph with him/her. A record of same shall be maintained by Observer at the centre and same needs to be deposited at the SSB office.


Disparity Cases - ADMIT CARD & OTHER DOCUMENT


x If a candidate does not bring the downloaded Admit Card, He/She will not be allowed to appear in the CBT.
x If a candidate does not bring the Photo ID Proof but downloaded Admit Card. He/She will be allowed subject to permission of Observer at the centre. x If a candidate brings only Photo ID Proof, He/She will not be allowed.
x On reporting to the test centre, candidate will be registered, assigned to a particular workstation. The proctors will guide the candidate to the workstation.
x Candidates are advised not to carry any belongings except pencil & pen to the workstation allotted. x Calculators, pagers, mobile phones, electronic watch and any other electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the examination hall.
x For rough work purpose sheets of paper will be provided at the workstation.
x P H candidates are advised to visit JKSSB website for all instructions and details in case scribe is required.
x The administrator is authorized to dismiss candidate from the test session for any of the following reasons:


Creating disturbance.
Attempting to take the test on behalf of someone else (Impersonation).
Talking to other candidates during the test.
Attempting to tamper with the computer system – either hardware or software.
Use of calculators, slide rules, pagers, mobile phones, concealed microphones, wireless devices or any other material that may aid in answering questions.


x Computer Based Test has 120 multiple choice Questions and the time allowed is
120 minutes.


x There is 0.25 Negative Marks for Wrong Answers.


x No break is permitted during the Computer Based Test


x In case candidate feel a question is incorrectly drafted or has all incorrect options, opportunity will be given to submit representation when JKSSB notifies answer key. Please don't submit grievance to any invigilator during the exam.
